Tomatos au gratin sounds wonderful. I might have to look for that second book...
My visit to the Highlands was too long ago. I may have to pull up my armchair beside yours and check out your first recommendation.
I'm trying to learn more about my Scots heritage, so I will add the first cookbook to my library list, also. Now I just have to find a great book of Celtic folk tales.
Nice blog.
My wee sister Heather lives in the Highlands :)
She was her own highlander too, otherwise known as John.
If you save enough to get over there, i will be your tour guide as i am always looking for an excuse to go visit.

I had haggis once.
Once.
Well let me know you cash that check in :)
